Northend.org Seasonal Design
Boise, Idaho - - - - As one of America's top neighborhood websites, Northend.org has been delivering content, news, event information and opinion to the close knit Boise neighborhood known as the Northend for nearly a decade.
According to Northend.org founder and principle consultant for Initial Point Consulting Dave Green, "he Northend.org web site was created to insure that the Northend community would be provided with a subjective view of the important issues and opportunities we are facing in one of the great, dynamic neighborhoods of the West. Northend.org is dedicated to preserving the values and characteristics that makes the Northend the unique and progressive community it is by doing my part to educate people about the historic and cultural treasures that are part of our area."
The new seasonal design was inspired by the recent Earth Day celebrations and the emphasis on sustainable communities. Boise enjoys 4 true seasons and the current design works for both Spring and Summer.
"Seasonal web designs brings in our most loyal users for a new look and gives them "fresh eyes" which reveals content and information that may have been overlooked as time and the static design marched on", says Green.
It is true that the more often your refresh a site the better is received by search engines as well. The process of the seasonal change is also very simple since the site is run using "includes" and a cascading style sheet setup. This allows us to edit 4 files and have the entire site look different.
